Uncertainty is a good thing

Amy Tan has a great dry sense of humor. At the same time, she talks about synchronicity and random chance and how they effect her creativity. She calls it coincidence - how the universe opens up to give her experiences that help along her writing. Also, how she lets go of her beliefs so that she may write.

Lotus gallop Lettuce Laugh.

A camel is trotting toward us and the sound of the rolling wetlands gallop and splash.
As the accordion sings and stomps and brings new meaning to the words let us laugh.

Leaps of faith, in pure water, green reflectors aside each frog head. Leapers are leaping; they abound all around as the camel gallops into the radio station for a tune up, unleaded.

Off we go again twenty years are gone and coming.
Wet she walks intrepid with a lantern.

Upon the rocks upon the rocks and the rolls holding coffee she stops to listen to a rabbit humming.

And in the distant future a bongo drumming. Be sure to remove any trash.

Suddenly a giant cathedral is ringing, it’s the Pope on the phone he’s drunk and alone, lotus gallop thru the spring lettuce laugh.

Far into the now, where we live forever be sure to feed all of the stray cats.

Suddenly a castle is ringing, it’s the Queen on the phone, she’s drunk and alone, lotus gallop thru the rain let us laugh.
